Bill Paxton is an American actor and director. He was born on May 17, 1955 in Fort Worth, Texas. Paxton attended Texas State University. After college, Paxton moved to Los Angeles, California to work as a set designer for director [Roger Corman. He later moved to New York City and studied acting under actress Stella Adler. Paxton married in 1979 to Kelly Rowan. The couple divorced a year later. In 1987, Paxton married Louise Newbury. They have two children together, James and Lydia Paxton.

Acting Career
Paxton's early works include Crazy Mama in 1975, Stripes' in 1981, [Mortuary in 1983 and The Terminator in 1984. From there he went on to play in the films Aliens, Navy Seals, Predator 2, Tombstone, Apollo 13, Twister , and Titanic. His more recent works include [Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over, Club Dread, Thunderbirds and The Good Life.
