Bill O'Reilly The View Episode
Bill O’Reilly appeared on the TV talk show “The View” on October 14, 2010. During the episode, a heated conversation developed about the topic of a mosque and community center being built near the 9/11 site. During the conversation, two of “The View” hosts, Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar, walked of the set of the show.
O’Reilly stated that, “Muslims killed us on 9/11”. He said he felt it was “inappropriate” for the building to be built close to that site. Goldberg called O’Reilly an “extremist” and Behar said, “she no longer wanted to sit here right now”. Behar and Goldberg then left the set of the studio but returned when O’Reilly said he had meant “extremist Muslims”.http://news.yahoo.com/s/yblog_upshot/20101014/en_yblog_upshot/goldberg-behar-walk-of-view-set-during-oreilly-interview
