Bill Hayward, entertainment lawyer, producer, and son of Margaret Sullavan and Leland Hayward, committed suicide on March 9, 2008. He died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the heart. Both his mother, Margaret Sullavan, and his sister Bridget, died of drug overdoses that were widely believed to have been suicides. It has been reported that his remains have been cremated, and a memorial service is planned for April 2008. He is survived by his ex-wife, Fiona Lewis, and two children Leland Hayward of Los Angeles and Bridget Hayward of Washington, DC. He was 66 years old.
