Bill Gwatney was the chairman of the Arkansas Democratic Party in Little Rock, Arkansas. On August 13, 2008, he was shot dead by a gunman in the Arkansas Democratic Party Headquarters in Little Rock. Shooting Death
On August 13, 2008, it was reported that Gwatney had been the victim of a shooting in the Arkansas Democratic Party headquarters. Gwatney was hospitalized in critical condition, and his attacker was allegedly chased down and shot by police officers.
