Retired American professional ice hockey player Bill Guerin played 18 seasons in the National Hockey League. On Monday, December 6, 2010, Guerin officially announced his retirement as a National Hockey League player. NHL Career
Guerin was drafted fifth overall in the 1989 NHL draft by the New Jersey Devils. Rather than joining the NHL right away, Guerin attended and played for Boston College for two years. He joined the Devils in 1991 for his NHL debut and helped the team win the Stanley Cup Championship in 1995. Guerin was traded to the Edmonton Oilers on January 4, 1998. He stayed in Edmonton for just short of three seasons before he was traded to the Boston Bruins on November 15, 2000. Guerin completed the 2001-02 season with the Bruins, then entered free agency and signed with the Dallas Stars on July 3, 2002. After four seasons in Dallas, Guerin signed with the St. Louis Blues in 2006, then was traded to the San Jose Sharks the following year. Bill Guerin House Tour
After Guerin joined the New York Islanders in 2007, Guerin, entering play at his sixth NHL team, gave fans a tour of his new home. He explains the stack of furniture is a result of just moving in before introducing his children's rooms and their toys, along with the elevator that is built in. Guerin continues on to show the common areas of the home, including the kitchen, living room and has favorite television, which he was still learning to use at the time.
