Bill Belichick is the head coach for the New England Patriots of the National Football League. He honed that defensive and business-like coaching style as a protégé of Bill Parcells as a defensive coordinator in 1986-1990. He is one of only four head coaches to win at least three Super Bowl championships along with Chuck Noll, Bill Walsh and Joe Gibbs.

Brief Biography
Born to a professional football player, Bill Belichick was raised in a football household. He got his first job in football as the assistant to Ted Marchibroda in 1975 for $25 a week. He then landed a job with his father's former team, the Detroit Lions a year later. After winning two Super Bowls with Bill Parcells, Belichick got his first head coaching job with the Cleveland Browns in 1991. After only winning 42 games in five seasons, Belichick was fired. He did not get his next starting job for another five years, when he was hired by the Patriots in 2000.
