British doctor of Iraqi origin Bilal Abdulla was arrested at Glasgow airport on Saturday, June 30, 2007, in connection to a failed attempt attack the Glasgow Airport in Scotland. Abdulla and his accomplice drove a jeep filled with explosives into a terminal at the airport. The vehicle caught fire but the two car bombs did not explode. After a three month trial, Abdulla was found guilty of conspiracy to murder and conspiracy to cause explosions on December 16, 2008.
