Biggest Loser Families is NBC's sixth season of the reality weight-loss show The Biggest Loser. Initially, the network said the show would be a couples edition, like season five, but in April 2008, NBC announced that family teams would compete for the grand prize of $250,000. The teams will consist of two family members each.

The finale for Biggest Loser Families|Biggest Loser: Families will air on December 16, 2008 at 8/7c. The final contestants have were down to three with the third contestant being chosen by viewers. Those competing for the grand prize were Michelle Aguilar, Vicky Vilcan and either Heba Salama or Ed Brantley. Michelle Aguilar won the grand prize after losing 110 pounds and over 45% of her body weight.
