Biggest Loser Couples Edition is the new season of NBC's hit The Biggest Loser. The show takes on pairs of spouses/family members/friends instead of individuals.

The first season of Biggest Loser Couples was won by Ali Vincent, and the second season by Helen Phillips. The third season of Biggest Loser Couples is scheduled to air January 5th, 2010, 8/7c.

Thomas returned home after being eliminated during the first episode of Biggest Loser Couples. She was charged with domestic abuse after her tenant, Michael Nolden, accused her of kicking open the door to his basement apartment and throwing a bag of flour in his face. On January 6, 2009, Thomas went before the judge and was released on a $2,000 bond. The network has not commented on whether or not she will be allowed to return to the campus if her mother remains in the competition for the thirty required days.BuddyTV: Shanon Thomas Charged... During the montage video with Dane Patterson after he was voted out, NBC announced that Patterson had completed a marathon in Los Angeles. Instead, he ran part way and NBC took their promotional shots of him finishing the race.
