The second finale of the of NBC's Biggest Loser Couples aired on May 12, 2009. Helen Phillips won the title of "Biggest Loser" and the cash grand prize of $250,000 after losing a higher percentage of body weight compared to the other three finalists.
Helen Phillips and Tara Costa lost enough weight to get into the finals, while the coveted third spot in the final went to Mike Morelli as voted on by the viewing public, causing his father Ron Morelli to be eliminated.
Of the players who were eliminated, Gerald "Jerry" Hayes lost a higher body percentage than the rest, earning the at-home player prize of $100,000.

Season One
Three finalists were competing for the grand prize of $250,000. Two of the three finalists, Ali Vincent and Kelly Fields, were chosen prior to the finale. The third spot was filled by Roger Schultz, after an online vote by viewers. After the final weigh-in, Ali was declared the first-ever female winner of The Biggest Loser. All total, she lost 112 pounds over a period of six months. -
