Two men who claim to have found the corpse of Bigfoot in Georgia held a press conference on August 15, 2008 in Palo Alto, California. Although Matthew Whitton and Rick Dyer had stated that the conference would include a discussion of DNA evidence, no such evidence was revealed. Rick Dyer and Matthew Whitton announced in July 2008 that they had allegedly discovered the corpse of Bigfoot in the north Georgia forest. The pair of self-described "Bigfoot hunters" say they kept the creature's corpse in a freezer.
