On the afternoon of April 28, 2009, an unnamed man car jacked the cab of a semi-truck and led police on a chase along highway I-75 in Atlanta, Georgia. Car Jacking Gone Wrong
According to reports, an unnamed man car jacked the cab of a red semi truck on April 28, 2009, at the intersection of Rivertown Road at Bishop Road in Fairburn, Georgia. Possibly to avert the crime, the truck owner jumped onto the back of the truck and held on as it began to travel down I-75. After traveling through Fulton, Clayton and Henry Counties, the truck slowed, allowing the owner to jump off the back of the cab onto the highway. The truck came to a complete stop moments later, at which point the suspect was arrested at gunpoint by police.
