Ring Controversy
Reinhard Ringler sued Jagger in February of 2009 for failing to pay him over $12,000 after he found and returned a valuable platinum ring that belonged to her. By law, Ringler was entitled to claim 5% of the ring's total worth as a reward (the ring was worth over $250,000), but Jagger said that Ringler was no longer owed a reward because he waited over eight days before returning it to her.
