Bhutto Bombs

  • October 18, 2007: 136 people were killed and 450 injuried in two bomb attacks near the convoy of Benazir Bhutto hours after she returned from exile. Bhutto left Pakistan for self-imposed exile in 1999. She was dismissed as prime minister in 1996 amidst accusations of corruption. Her return earlier in the day was greeted by huge crowds.
