  • Preparation - Mission 4

    GameAnyone: Beyond Good and Evil - Walkthrough 25/33 (Time: 9:42)
    1. You will need to find and equip the Beluga for a flight to the moon base.
    2. This will cost 50 pearls in total.
    3. It's actually a pretty short mission, so don't rush through the prep.
    4. You probably won't have to do all the preparation steps if you have been doing all the things I've told you to do. They're pretty fun though, so you might as well do them.
    5. Don't forget to pick up the pearls from IRIS.
    6. Note: The Pedestrian District is very different. Most of the people are gone or protesting. Even the Hillyian soldiers support IRIS if you talk to them.
    • Francis
    1. You should have gotten a message from Francis about a new pearl on his game.
    2. Note: He's gotten much better at it. Remember to save before hand in case you lose a lot. You won't need the money, but it's possible to lose many times before you get lucky.
    • Ming-Tzu
    1. Ming-Tzu should have another pearl for you. You'll get a message about it at some point too.
    2. He'll also have your latest report available if you want to see it.
    • Alpha Sections Headquarters
    1. You can use your green star key to kill the laser grid at the back of the fountain square.
    2. Note: This stealth level is very fast paced, so be on your toes.
    3. Get into the elevator and have Double H press the button to send you up.
    4. Note: You are in their headquarters and the area is protected by tons of turrets. You can't be spotted here and hope to survive.
    5. Go forward and sneak under the bridge.
    6. Hug the wall and sneak as soon as you get back onto the ground.
    7. Sneak right behind the guard and jump up onto the next level.
    8. Wait for the one moving guard to turn back around.
    9. Follow him forward, but go back into the back corner of the niche.
    10. Wait for him to turn back around and walk past.
    11. Sneak out behind him and the other stationary guard to move forward.
    12. Grab onto the ledge and wait for a guard to come forward and look out over the railing.
    13. Get ready. As soon as he turns around, sneak behind him and wait under the pipe.
    14. The next guard is probably walking out now.
    15. Sneak past him when he turns around.
    16. Go right behind the stationary guard and jump up onto the next ledge.
    17. Go across the path and jump to the other side.
    18. Wait at the edge and watch for the one pivoting guard to face you. That's your cue.
    19. As soon as he turns away to the wall, drop down and jump onto the ledge of the path he's guarding.
    20. Then climb up quickly and sneak behind him before he turns around.
    21. The other guard never turns around, so just go right behind him.
    22. Climb up the equipment to the office above.
    23. There is one guard inside doing a circular patrol.
    24. Don't move in front of any of the long windows when he's looking in that direction.
    25. Just wait until he passes and then move. Go around the building.
    26. Don't worry about the one guard on the outside. He doesn't turn around.
    27. When you get to the door, stay in the blind spot and wait for him to walk past.
    28. Then hit him in the back with a disk. It shouldn't alert anyone.
    29. Press the button and go further into their headquarters.
    30. Grab the pearls and then use the key to open the door.
    31. Do forward rolls over the little obstacles and go to the end of the hallway.
    32. Chase Begins
    33. The commander of the Alpha Sections is now chasing you along with his three guards.
    34. They still have bad aim though, so don't worry too much about their laser fire.
    35. Jump over the one bar on the floor and avoid the holes.
    36. Just follow the winding path and go across the rooftops.
    37. Note: The camera changes positions when you get to the end of the rooftops. Don't accidentally start running in the wrong direction because of it.
    38. A fighter will join the battle after the first set of and start shooting at you.
    39. Just keep running and dodging the holes in the glass roofs.
    40. Your goal is that catwalk just ahead. Jump off the end of it to be rescued by Double H.
    • The Beluga
    1. You should have probably guessed this one by now.
    2. You need to move the two billboards with designs for the jet boots.
    3. The first one is in the bedroom upstairs in the lighthouse.
    4. Go up there and open your inventory.
    5. Look at the jet boots and turn them so that you can see the soles.
    6. These are the codes you need.
    7. Try both of them on the panel up here.
    8. Then go to the garage and use press the billboard.
    9. Use the code that didn't work before and then press the button to open the secret extension of the hanger.
    10. Go over to the desk and grab the disk covering the Beluga's checkup.
    11. Grab the flight stabilizer on the desk too.
    12. Look at the disk to see that you still need one flight stabilizer and a new engine.
    13. Get into the hovercraft and drive to Mammago's.
    14. Buy the flight stabilizer and go back out in your hovercraft.
    15. Something's wrong though.
    • The Attack
    1. The Alpha Sections destroyed the lighthouse while you were gone.
    2. Dock and run into the lighthouse.
    3. Go upstairs and into the now destroyed bedroom for a sad cutscene.
    4. Go back out to the garage once you're ready.
    5. Four flying Alpha Sections robots launch an ambush in the courtyard though.
    6. They'll be spread out a bit, so you shouldn't be overwhelmed.
    7. You will have to kill the first before the next two spawn. The last one will usually wait until you've killed one of the second wave.
    8. Use your super attack and your discs to damage them.
    9. Tip: The rocks provide good cover, if you need it.
    10. Just dodge their lasers and counterattack.
    11. The robots don't have much health, so it shouldn't be a long fight.

    • Fixing the Beluga
    1. Go back to the hanger and reopen the extension.
    2. Walk up to each of the legs and put a flight stabilizer into each of the slots.
    3. You can now fly it around the planet safely.
    4. When you leave, you will be faced by the last sea serpent.
    5. Note: Take a minute to familiarize yourself with combat in the Beluga.
    6. Just chase after the monster and keep firing.
    7. The neutralizer also works on the Beluga, so use it if you are having trouble with aim.
    • Volcano Treasure
    1. Fly over to the top of Black Isle.
    2. Drop the hovercraft into the pool at the top of the island.
    3. Drive it inside.
    4. Dock and take a picture of the strange amoeba on the wall.
    5. Go into the mine and then jump up to the top level.
    6. Run forward and jump over to the platform on the wall.
    7. Hug the wall to get to the other side of the gap.
    8. Position yourself on the other side of the explosive fungi.
    9. Have Double H knock the fungi into the air.
    10. Hit it into the bridge to knock it over.
    11. Wait for Double H to cross the gap.
    12. Run forward to the next area and fight the first three crochax.
    13. This should be a piece of cake by now.
    14. Pick up all three pearls when you're done.
    15. Continue straight forward and jump across the two gaps.
    16. Kill the lone crochax and take its pearl.
    17. Go to the end of the path by the explosive fungi.
    18. Have Double H knock it into the air and then send it into the bridge across from you.
    19. Double back, but stop to kill the two new crochax who come in to cut you off.
    20. Take their pearls and jump over to the other path.
    21. Move along the path and clear the purple fungi out of your way.
    22. Four crochax ambush you right after this.
    23. Just take them all out with some good hitting and dodging.
    24. Grab their pearls.
    25. Go across the bridge you knocked down to the final room.
    26. Five crochax attack. Just keep hitting them and try to keep them from pinning Double H.
    27. Grab the last five pearls to finish your collection.
    28. You should get a special disk from Mammago as a present.

    • Wrapup
    1. It's time to finish up anything else that you want to do.
    2. Fly over to Mammago's in the Beluga. Choose to land the whole in the special room.
    3. Go in back and have the special space flight engine added.
    4. Just aim yourself upwards and press the use button for the flight engine when prompted.
