Beyonce, also known as Beyonce Giselle Knowles, is an American rhythm and blues singer, as well as an actor and fashion model. Knowles was born in Houston, Texas. She was the lead singer of the rhythm and blues group, [[Destiny’s Child],] in the late 1990s. Knowles has won a number of awards including Grammy Awards, an MTV Awards and an American Music Awards.
