• The Two Dicks

  Dick York, who portrayed harried mortal husband Darren Stevens for the first five seasons of Bewitched, left the show in 1969 due to back problems. His replacement, Dick Sargent (who, but for scheduling conflicts, would have originally played the role) was not as well-liked by audiences.
