The 21-year-old Atlanta rapper Dolla was shot dead at Los Angeles' upscale Beverly Center shopping mall on the afternoon of May 18, 2009. According to one witness, the shooter was a woman. The shooting took place around 3:15 p.m. on the ground level of the facility's parking structure, subsequent to a scuffle among a group of men.
