Betty Ross Banner is a fictional character featured in The Hulk-related comics published by Marvel.

Making her debut in the Incredible Hulk comic book series, Betty Ross is Bruce Banner's love interest and wife.

A scientist herself, Ross was present when Banner was hit by an intense blast of gamma rays that transformed him into The Hulk.

When Banner's alter ego became public knowledge, she broke up with Banner and married Major Glenn Talbot. After Talbot died in an attempt to kill the Hulk, she married Banner and went on the run with him from the U.S. government. Ross was later killed by the Abomination after being poisoned with his gamma-infused blood.

In the 2008 film The Incredible Hulk, the part of Betty Ross is played by Liv Tyler.
