Better Than Ezra is a New Orleans-based band that was formed in the late '80s while the members were attending Louisiana State University. Transitioning from frat parties to Los Angeles, California in the '90s, the band released an independent debut called Deluxe that was re-released after they signed to a major label (Elektra Records). The album had one of their biggest hits, "Good," which helped it sell over a million copies. They continued releasing albums after Deluxe, but failed to achieve the same commercial success.
Their most recent album, Before the Robots, was released in 2005.
