Betsy Blair was an Oscar nominated actress who was once married to Gene Kelly. She co-starred in the 1955 film Marty with Ernest Borgnine. Blair's associations with Marxist organizations led to her being blacklisted by Hollywood in the 1950s.
On March 13, 2009, Blair died of cancer at the age of 85 in a London hospital.
