As its name suggests, the "Best Pop Vocal Album" Grammy is awarded to the best-produced pop recording out of five nominees. The award has been renamed several times from "Best Contemporary Album" and "Best Pop Album."
During the 2008 Grammy ceremony, Amy Winehouse and producer Mark Ronson won the award for Winehouse's Back To Black album.
