Topless beaches are more common outside the U.S. St. Tropez, France, is home to a few topless beaches like Nikki Beach and Plage de Pampelonne. In Australia, Samurai Beach in Port Stevens is very popular, as well as Manly Beach in Sydney. The Caribbean also offers some naturist beaches: the Club Orient Resort in St. Martin and Anse du Gouverneur in St. Barts are home to fully clothing-optional beaches.

• California
• Baker's Beach - This beach has a great view of the Golden Gate Bridge. There is a nudity portion which is north 'Hazardous Surf' sign. Park rangers may fine you for violations. See this link for directions. The beach has grills and picnic tables. Portable toilets can be found in the clothed part of the beach. People sunbathe, play frisbee, relax and fish there. Swimming is not recommended. There are mostly nude males, but there are some nude females.
• Black's Beach - Said to be the most popular bare beach in La Jolla, California, it features a tide pool near Mussel Rock and 300 ft high cliffs. You can get there two ways: through Torrey Pines State Park, or by trails down the cliffside by the historic Torrey Pines Gliderport near the Salk Institute. Activities include swimming, surfing, boogie boarding, volley ball, snorkeling, and jogging, volley ball. When the tide is especially high, there may not be much beach, so it is better to be there during low tide. Nudity is prohibited in the city portion, where you can be fined $135.

• Florida
• Haulover Beach Miami-Dade County Regional Park. Locate off Collins Avenue, north of Bal Harbour. This beach is popular with visitors from around the world. The section where nudity is allowed is generous, about 800 yards long, There are lifeguards and security is provided by unobtrusive police. Refreshments, sunbeds and umbrellas are available.

• New Jersey
• Gunnison Beach in Sandy Hook. This is a national park beach. Parking fees are $10 per car/per day and season passes are $50. It is about 1/2 a mile to the beach from the parking lot. Flotation devices are not allowed. The Big N is legal and there is police protection. You cannot go past the "attention" signs sans clothing, and nudity is not allowed in the protected dunes.
