Best Cinematography Oscar Winner 2009

Anthony Dod Mantle of Slumdog Millionaire was the 2009 winner of the Best Cinematography Oscar at the Academy Awards Ceremony on February 22, 2009. The cinematography award honors the cinematographer of the movie, often called director of photography. The other 2009 nominees were Tom Stern for Changeling, Claudio Miranda for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Wally Pfister for The Dark Knight, and Chris Menges and Roger Deakins for The Reader.
