  • Best Buy is kicking off its Black Friday 2008 sale by holding an essay contest, the winners of which will receive a $1,000 Best Buy gift card, a limousine ride to and from the store on the day of the sale, and a Pure Digital Flip Video Ultra Series Camcorder. Best Buy has published pre-sale specials on electronics and computer equipment, but has not released final Black Friday prices.
