Retired NFL quarterback Bernie Kosar played with Cleveland Browns, Dallas Cowboys and Miami Dolphins during his career from 1985 to 1996.
NFL Career
With a deadly accurate arm, Bernie Kosar was able to lead the Cleveland Browns to a 12-4 record with 3,854 yards passing and 17 touchdowns in only his second season. However, that year was stalled at the 1986 AFC Championship Game versus the John Elway lead Denver Broncos. In 1987, Kosar was selected to play in the Pro Bowl after throwing 22 touchdowns, and amassing 3,033 yards. His final opportunity to get to the Super Bowl was halted in 1989, again, against the Denver Broncos, he retired seven years later with the Miami Dolphins.
