Bernie Hamilton was an American actor who appeared on the 1970s police television show Starsky & Hutch, where he portrayed Captain Dobey. Hamilton passed away on December 30, 2008, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center from cardic arrest. He was 80 at the time of his death.
