• Brady Injury

  During the 2008 season opener against the New England Patriots, Pollard went in for a tackle on Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. Pollard hit Brady's knee, putting him out of the game with an injury. It was later announced that Brady would need surgery to repair ligament damage and will miss the rest of the season. The NFL ruled that Pollard's hit was legal and he will not be fined.
