Bernard Butler is the former guitarist for the Brit-Pop, band Suede and a music producer who has worked with artists including Duffy, The Libertines. and Manic Street Preachers.
Benard Butler was one of the co-writers and guitarists for Suede's first two albums, their self-title debut and the follow-up Dog Man Star. Artistic differences with their producer caused him to leave the band and pursue his own projects, a move which led to a successful stint producing and collaborating on records by artists such as Aimee Mann, Sparks, Duffy, Sons and Daughters, Black Kids and The Libertines.
Benard Butler was influenced by such musicians as Johnny Marr, Peter Green, George Harrison and Steve Howe, his live shows have often been compared to Neil Young.
