Bermuda is located a little over 1,000 miles from the coast of Florida. Most dining options on the island are found in the city of Hamilton or the town of St. George. Most high-end hotels also have fine-dining restaurants, although the prices are usually a bit higher then the typical restaurant you would find within the city or town.

The Newport Room in the Fairmont Southampton is an AAA five-diamond rated restaurant in Bermuda, the first ever to be rated that high on the island. The menu is French-based, but also offers foods from around the world, including Maine lobsters. The food is "succulent" and the service, "attentive." Prices are fixed, based on a three- or four-course meal. Reservations and jackets are required.

Why not try a bit of Italian while in Bermuda? The Portofino restaurant in Hamilton provides patrons with "reasonably priced," Italian cooking. The daily specials are said to be the best menu bets because of the the freshness. The atmosphere reminds one of dining in an authentic Italian "trattoria" with it's hanging lamps and "freshly made" pastas. There is also an outside dining area and take-out available.
