The Chicago Bulls mascot, Benny the Bull, is being sued by a dentist who alleges he was injured intentionally.
The injury:
According to the suit, a Dr. Don Kalant claims that during a February 12th game in Chicago, he suffered a ruptured biceps muscle and has been unable to work since.
Assault with intent to celebrate:
The incident occurred when the mascot, played by Barry Anderson, was high-fiving several Bulls fans, and in the process lost his balance (either accidentally or on purpose), causing him to grab Kalant's arm and causing the injury. Kalant is suing for damages stemming from medical bills, physical pain, and loss of income.
