British newlywed Benjamin Mullany was shot and critically wounded during an apparent botched robbery attempt on the island of Antigua on July 27, 2008. Mullany's wife, Catherine Mullany, died in the attack, which happened on the final day of the couple's Caribbean honeymoon.
