Benito Casanovais a suspect in the murder of Sophia Garcia. Garcia was found dead in her home on Monday, April 21, 2008. The cause of death was ruled to be a homicide due to blunt force trauma to the head. The children are missing and believed to be with Casanova.
Missing children
An Amber Alert was issued after the body of their mother was found. Six year old Oscar Casanova, seven year old Karla Casanova, and 11 year old Fernando Casanova were last seen when they were picked up from school on Friday, April 18, 2008. Casanova is suspected in the disappearance.
