Bender is a foul-mouthed, alcoholic, chain-smoking robot on the animated television series Futurama. Bender works for the Planet Express delivery company and lives with his best friend and co-worker, Philip J. Fry. Notoriously selfish, Bender only looks out for himself, except for rare occasions when he shows brief and grudging kindness toward his friends. Bender is also a compulsive thief and will steal virtually anything from anyone.
