  • Emmy-winner Ben Stiller made a name for himself as a comedic actor among the ranks of the so-called "Frat Pack" (which includes his famous friends Will Ferrell, Owen and Luke Wilson, Vince Vaughn, and Jack Black). His popularity began growing exponentially in the late '90s, after he starred alongside Robert De Niro in the hit 2000 comedy Meet The Parents. His father, Jerry Stiller, is also a comedic performer who had popular roles on the sitcoms Seinfeld and The King of Queens.

    On February 22, 2009, Stiller appeared on the 81st Annual Academy Awards alongside Natalie Portman to present Best Cinematography. When he walked on stage he was wearing a bushy beard, sunglasses and chomping on gum.   • Broken Arm

    Stiller suffered a broken arm in a snowboarding accident in New York City in late December 2008. He was treated at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. A source reported to the Daily News that "One of the hospital's top hand specialists was called in to treat him."   • TV Career

    After a brief stint on Saturday Night Live, Stiller created two separate shows, both called The Ben Stiller Show; the first was on MTV, the second on FOX. Though liked by critics, the show never achieved adequate Nielsen ratings and was canceled in 1993.
  • Film Career

    Stiller directed the films Reality Bites and The Cable Guy, but soon he returned to notoriety as an actor when the Farrelly Brothers comedy There's Something About Mary and the aforementioned Meet The Parents launched him to super stardom. These films led to performances in a series of popular movies such as Zoolander, The Royal Tenenbaums, Dodgeball and Night at the Museum. Stiller also continued to make cameo appearances in fellow Frat Pack members' films in addition to his starring roles.
