National Football League offensive guard Ben Grubbs currently plays for the Baltimore Ravens. He was selected in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft by the Ravens. Grubbs joined the team for all 16 games his rookie season in 2007.
Early Career
Grubbs was a star linebacker and full back in high school. He was selected as one of the Top 10 football players in Alabama in 2002. In addition to football, Grubbs also played basketball. Grubbs studied Public Administration at Auburn University, graduating in 2006. He played all 37 games with the Auburn Tigers. Grubbs switched back and forth between tight end and defensive tackle his first season, then moved to guard for the following three years. He was part of Auburn's undefeated 2004 season. Grubbs earned All-SEC honors his junior and senior years and All-American honors his senior season.
