Rumors have circulated that film star Ben Affleck has been duped in an interview by the character of Bruno, created by Sacha Baron Cohen. The character was featured in the hit HBO television show Da Ali G Show. Reports are that Ben Affleck had no knowledge of the character, and treated the interview seriously. Disturbed by the interview, Ben Affleck relayed the experience to friend and comedian Sarah Silverman. After hearing the description of the event, she informed him that Bruno was actually a famous comedic character. Reportedly, Affleck was insulted by the character's politically inappropriate views, and tactics.
