Bellatrix Lestrange

Bellatrix Lestrange is a fictional character from J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series of books and movies.

Bellatrix is a Death Eater and has been called Voldemort's most loyal follower. She is the cousin of Sirius Black and aunt to Draco Malfoy. She and her husband, along with Barty Crouch Jr., are directly responsible for the insanity of Neville Longbottom's parents. For this crime, they were imprisoned in Azkaban. She escaped the prison in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and returned to help Voldemort wreak havoc on both the wizarding and muggle world.

Bellatrix Lestrange was born to Druella Rosier and Cygnus Black in 1951. She was raised to flaunt her full-blood status as a witch. She married Rodolphus Lestrange, although her true love was Voldemort. Lestrange was an accomplished duelist and an occlumens. Her favorite spell was the cruciatus curse. She killed her cousin Sirius Black, the house elf Dobby and another cousin Nymphadora Tonks before her demise at the hands of Molly Weasley.
