Beijing Snowstorm

Heavy snowfall began in Beijing, China on Saturday, January 2, 2010 and continued throughout Sunday. Over 1.5 inches have fallen in the capital, with almost 5 inches recorded in suburbs such as Changping.http://www.google.com/hostednews/canadianpress/article/ALeqM5gLJ9j8R_Szzhad5hDkKCOOfviWQQ

Air China is reporting that 120 flights departing from Beijing have been delayed and 86 have been cancelled, which is almost 80% of all scheduled flights. Nearby cities Tianjin, Hohhot and Shijiazhuang have closed their airports down completely.
