The Beijing Science and Technology University Gymnasium hosted the Judo and Taekwondo during the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. It also hosted Wheelchair Basketball and Wheelchair Rugby for the Summer Paralympics. The gymnasium uses several natural resources such as rain and sunlight to sustain its needs. It uses recycled water and has a solar-powered hot water system.
