In this video, Mahalo makeup expert Katie Gurvin demonstrates how to use mineral makeup for light or full coverage on your skin.
Lighter Coverage
1. Use a large, fluffy brush. 2. Pick up some powder by pressing the brush into the makeup.
3. Shake off a bit of the powder so that it doesn't fall everywhere.
4. Start off where you want the most coverage, generally in the center of the face in the t-zone. Dust on a little bit of powder and spread it out with the brush. Continue until you reach the desired coverage. Fuller Coverage
1. Use a smaller, flat brush with firm bristles. 2. Press the brush into the makeup.
3. Pack the makeup onto the skin in areas that need more coverage. Use the angle of the brush to contour creases. 4. Apply the makeup only where you need full coverage, otherwise it will begin to look cakey. You should still be able to see the skin underneath it.
