Before Sunrise is a 1995 romance film from American writer and director Richard Linklater. The film follows a young man and woman who meet on train traveling through Europe. The two decide to get off in Vienna and spend a day there. Over the course of the day, the pair begin to fall for each other. The film is made up of extended scenes where actors Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy were allowed to improvise. This effect was utilized to achieve a more "naturalistic" tone for the film. Linklater went on to make a sequel, Before Sunset, in 2004.http://www.allmovie.com/work/before-sunrise-133986

Reviews
"Linklater hasn't just crafted a detached portrait of a unique couple: he's painting a masterful examination of human nature, of that relationship we all want, but too often sadly see slip away." — Gabe Leibovitz, Film and Felthttp://filmandfelt.com/musings/?p=110
"While it's a bit awkward and self-indulgent, it also creates two extremely vivid characters and one of cinema's more believable romances." — Rich Cline, Shadows on the Wallhttp://www.shadowsonthewall.co.uk/04/befosuns.htm#sunr
Scene from Before Sunrise
This is a scene from Richard Linklater's film, "Before Sunrise." In the scene, Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy portray Jesse and Celine, pantomiming a conversation Celine would be having with her friend in France. She speaks about why she won't be able to make it for a lunch date because of a man she met on the train. The clip depicts Linklater's lingering shooting style not often inserting jump cuts.
