Writer/Director Andrew Bujalski's third movie stars real-life twins Tilly and Maggie Hatcher as twins trying to find their way in the world. Like in his earlier films, Bujalski used a small, non-professional and nimble crew to tell an intimate story in a way that could not be done big-budget.http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/beeswax/<ref>Beeswax will be released in August of 2009.
Plot Synopsis
Beeswax tells the story of Houston-based twins Lauren and Jeannie, the former athletic and half-heartedly looking for work; the latter a paraplegic co-owner of a local vintage store. As Lauren tries to decide whether she is going to go overseas to teach English, Jeannie, fearing that she is going to be sued by her business partner, gets help from her ex-boyfriend, Merrill, re-kindling their relationship.http://www.variety.com/review/VE1117939690.html?categoryid=31&cs=1&nid=2577Cast

Reviews
"Beeswax, for all its low-key charms, is likely to mainly inspire exasperated "so what?" reactions among those who don't already count themselves members of the director's small but devoted fan-club."http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/hr/film-reviews/film-review-beeswax-1003944459.story"Character-driven slice-of-life thesped mostly by nonpros resolutely avoids the dramatic -- dwelling instead on the moments in between. Unlikely to reach much beyond the helmer's fan base (some of whom will think he's treading water), this modest but fest-friendly item could slip into niche arthouse slots, drawing the same Gen-Y demographic as his earlier pics."http://www.variety.com/review/VE1117939690.html?categoryid=31&cs=1&nid=2577
