  • Aftermath

    Hitler was soon arrested and sentenced to five years in prison. Though he served just nine months, it was in that time that he dictated Mein Kampf to Rudolf Hess. Banned from public speaking until 1927, Hitler used this time to build up the party so that it could pursue power through legal means.
