  • The Bee Gees were a hugely successful pop music trio that became one of the most popular acts of the 1970s with their soft-rock sound and three-part harmonies. Made up of brothers Maurice, Robin and Barry Gibb, the group was at the forefront of the Disco scene that swept the music industry in the 70s. While the band released a number of hit songs before, it was their soundtrack to the 1977 film Saturday Night Fever that catapulted them to super-stardom. With three #1 hits ("How Deep Is Your Love", "Stayin' Alive", and "Night Fever"), the band became an international smash.
