Becki Newton is an American actress. She was born on July 4, 1978 in New Haven, Connecticut but was raised in Guilford, Connecticut. She attended the University of Pennsylvania where she majored in European History. She married actor Chris Diamantopoulos in 2005.

Acting Career
Newton appeared in several television commercials. In 2003, she was cast in an episode of the television series Cold Case. From 2003-2004, Newton was the Fantasy Daughter on the soap opera The Guiding Light. From there, she played on P.S, American Dreams, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Charmed. In 2006, she landed a role on the series Ugly Betty as the character Amanda. In 2007, Newton played in the drama August Rush.
