The Bebe Pod is a plastic infant seat by Prince Lionheart. It allows the baby to use their own weight to securely stay seated without using straps or belts. It is recommended for babies to sit and play or for feeding or snack times. It helps babies learn how to sit up on their own. The plastic seat is non-toxic and allows for easy clean up. Although babies are sitting securely, parents are urged not to leave babies unattended or place the chair on top of counters or tables because of a risk of the baby falling.
Two Bebe Pod models are available. The original features a 'pommel' design for baby to grab and a new model offers a tray that can be used for feedings, toys or other baby 'distractions'.
Bebe Pod with Tray Demonstration
This video from 2008 by Kiddie Care illustrates the Lionheart Bebe Pod in action with demonstration of their Bebe Pod model that features a removable tray. It comes with with two washable place mats and an attachable toy. The tray can be used to turn the Bebe Pod into your baby's first high chair.
