Beatles Rock Band

As of December 11, 2009 over 1 million The Beatles Rock Band had been sold according to MTV Games.

Wednesday September 9, 2009 marked the release of the new music video game Beatles Rock Band. Beatles Rock Band Video Game is distributed by Electronics Art. 2 additional releases have come out and provided additional songs to add to the collection. Three additional songs released from the Abby Road collection in October and in November, 8 more can be downloaded from the Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band collection.

Created by MTV Network's Harmonix Division along with the surviving Beatles Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr. The game uses guitars drums and microphones as well as the Beatles in 3-D animation. There are many locations in the game that were made famous by the appearances of the Beatles such as Abbey Road Studio, Shea Stadium and the Cavern club, to name a few.

On November 17, 2009 you have the option of downloading the remaining eight tracks in a "Complete the Album Pack" . the cost of this download is $13.49

If you choose the singles then you will pay $1.39 per single for the remaining 8 songs.

Abbey Road, the first full album to be released as downloadable content for The Beatles: Rock Band, was released October 20,2009.

The gamer can choose to get the entire album or choose to download the 3 singles that are being released as well.

There are 2 options on this release. You can download the compete "The Album Pack" or you can choose to just get the 3 singles that are being released.

The Album Pack include the 3 singles plus the 16-minute medley from Abbey Road's B-side. It costs $16.99.

These releases from the Rubber Soul album are the December 15, 2009 songs. Some of the songs on the album had already been released such as, “Drive My Car,” “I’m Looking Through You” “If I Needed Someone”
