Beastly is a motion picture set in the contemporary world based on the Film Beauty and The Beast. The film is directed by Daniel Barnz. A young man that has everything from good looks to money meets a girl from his school that puts a curse on him, but it has a twist. The twist is that he has to find true love in one years time and he is transformed into an ugly beast. His dad moves him into a big house in Brooklyn, New York. He finds a friend that likes him for whom he appears not as he normally is. His tutor, who is blind, teaches him to trust in other people and in the process falls in love with his new friend.

As the film is not scheduled for release until 2011 and it is currently in post-production, there have not been any previews granted to any critics or media outlets. As such critical reviews have not been issued for this film as of June of 2010.
