  • Beachwood Sparks is an alternative country rock band from Los Angeles, California. Their sound, often described as "psychedelic country," is influenced by the bands coming out of California in the mid- to late-1960s like Buffalo Springfield, The Byrds and The Flying Burrito Brothers.

The band had not played together since 2002 and were thought to have perhaps broken up. However, it was announced that the group would be playing Sub Pop Records' 20th anniversary concert in 2008, and more shows were booked later that year.
